Product Description

Our PTFE expansion joints are made from the synthetic material Polytetrafluoroethylene, the non reactive material is widely used in pipelines within the chemical manufacturing industry, acting as a protective agent against corrosive substances. KOSGA’s molded PTFE expansion joints are specially to designed to protect pipes which come in contact with strong industrial and reactive materials.

The KOSGA Series PTFE & FEP Lined Expansion Joints are designed for tough, demanding, corrosive chemical applications such as chemical and petrochemical process facilities and highly corrosive industrial piping and pollution control systems. Use of the Series KOSGA expansion joints is especially prevalent in the paper industry, where their ability to resist corrosive attack at elevated temperature and pressure is unrivaled by other competitive metal or plastic expansion joints.

Solid-molded PTFE expansion joints are corrosion-resistant and made to withstand the high pressure and temperature in a compact, space-saving design. Standard sizes from 1” to 12” with two, three, or five convolutions; available in sizes up to 48”. KOSGA PTFE expansion joints can operate with temperatures from -300 F to 400 F from a full vacuum to 160 PSI depending on the type and number of convolutions.
